A long-time supporter of foreign missions, Bishop Fitzgerald’s work in the Dominican Republic led to his appointment by the Church of God in Christ as prelate of the Dominican Commonwealth Jurisdiction. He proudly serves with Mother Jacky Clark-Chisholm, the Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Women’s Department. This jurisdiction serves churches across the DR while supporting efforts to address sex trafficking and education disparities.
